Effective June 1, 2026, Investment and Brokerage House, Barita, is increasing the fees and charges for a range of services.
These include General Service, RTGS transfer of US$ to local bank, Other Credit Facilities, Wire and Foreign Drafts, Transfers, Unit Trust Early Redemption Charges, Documents and Research, Equity Related Fees, Security Pledges, Bank of Jamaica (BOK) and Government of Jamaica (GOJ), Bid Placement Fees, Global and Local Bond Coupon Fees.
Foreign Draft (US$ Overseas) has moved up to US$40; Foreign Draft (US$ Local) now at US$30; Internation wire transfer (All currencies) US$57; Return Cheque (Foreign Currency) US$8; Foreign Cheques US$10; Stop payment plus bank charges (Foreign Cheques issued by Barita) US$11; Foreign Cheque drawn on overseas bank (Presented to Barita or deposited to our account) J$600; Exchange of cheque for Citibank US$10 and RTGS transfer of US$ to local bank US$40.
