Fontana Pharmacy joined schools across the island in celebrating Play Day Jamaica 2026, an annual observance that highlights the importance of play in children’s development.
In support of the initiative, the Fontana Marketing Team spent the day at Sandhurst Early Childhood Development Centre in Barbican, bringing fun, movement, and smiles to the students and their teachers. The children participated in a range of engaging, unstructured play activities using Fontana-branded footballs, hula hoops, skipping ropes, pinwheels and bubbles, encouraging physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.
As part of Fontana’s commitment to child wellness, the team also shared health and wellness products, including Huggies and Lander baby products from T Geddes Grant, alongside snacks provided from Sunshine Snacks, reinforcing the importance of supporting children’s well-being while they engage in active play.
Ms. Ruthann Morrison, Brand Manager (Pharmacy & Consumer Division) shared “T. Geddes Grant is committed to initiatives that support children and families. Partnering with Fontana Pharmacy for Play Day Jamaica allowed us to contribute Huggies and Lander Baby products in a meaningful way while celebrating the importance of play.”

“Sunshine Snacks is committed to initiatives that support children’s well-being.
