GraceKennedy Money Services (GKMS) CEO Margaret Campbell and TransJam Highways CEO Ivan Anderson formalise the new T-Tag top-up partnership during a signing ceremony at the GK Headquarters in downtown Kingston. They were joined by GKMS Regional Manager — GK Payment Services, Terence Slater and TransJam Highways CFO Susan Brown.

GraceKennedy Payment Services (GKPS), a division of the GK Financial Group, has partnered with TransJamaican Highway to allow T-Tag top-ups at all Bill Express locations islandwide.

The expanded service provides T-Tag users of the Portmore, Spanish Town, Old Harbour and May Pen legs of the highway more access to pay in near real-time.

“This is convenience redefined for TransJam Highway users,” said Terence Slater, regional manager, GraceKennedy Payment Services.

“With a Bill Express outlet in nearly every community—from Western Union locations, to post offices, pharmacies and supermarkets—topping up your T-Tag has never been easier. This is a partnership that drives Jamaica forward,” he continued.

Customers must provide the 16 characters appearing on their T-Tag sticker or swipe card to pay, after which they will receive a confirmation of their transaction. Within 10 minutes of completing the transaction, customers can access the T-Tag lane successfully.

The TransJamaican toll has been a critical thoroughfare since Hurricane Melissa on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, which severely impacted non-toll routes. With toll booths open for daily commuting, the partnership allows Jamaicans to return to normal more quickly by improving travel ease.

“Our mission has always been to improve the toll-road experience for Jamaicans,” said Ivan Anderson, managing director of Trans Jamaican Highway.

“Through this collaboration with Bill Express, we’re delivering reliable access that keeps Jamaica moving, especially at a time when connectivity and mobility matter most,” he added.

Margaret Campbell, CEO of GraceKennedy Money Services, explained that the new service underscores the company’s commitment to meeting Jamaicans where they are.

“This partnership reflects our focus on innovation, access and service excellence,” she stated further.

T-Tag top-ups will also be available through additional Bill Express channels in the coming weeks, giving motorists even more convenient options to manage their accounts.
