The BossMom Network has announced ‘Blend’, an exclusive networking event designed to empower and celebrate mothers in business. 

Set to take place on Thursday, December 12, this one-of-a-kind event will bring together Boss Moms for an unforgettable evening of connection, inspiration, and celebration.

Blend is an opportunity for attendees to reflect on the year gone by and look ahead to the exciting possibilities of the year to come. The evening will showcase and honour the accomplishments of outstanding women entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders while fostering an environment of empowerment and collaboration.

For the very first time, Blend will feature the prestigious Boss Mom Awards, recognizing exceptional achievements in the categories of visionary influence, legacy of love, lifestyle mentorship, strength and resilience, excellence and community impact. The awards will honour women who have made remarkable contributions to their industries and communities, with each category sponsored by prominent organizations, including Caribbean Assurance Brokers Limited, Ford, Le Champ Cosmetics and the Bank of Jamaica. 

Michelle Gordon, Organizer of Blend, is optimistic about the event as it provides moms with a relief from the busyness of the holiday season, even just for a few hours.

“There will be a mini photoshoot and makeup service on location, allowing attendees the opportunity to capture their best selves, courtesy of Kerri Berrick Photography and Le Champ Cosmetics, of course. The activation is a perfect way to update their headshots as they celebrate all their achievements,” Gordon stated. 

Blend will feature interactive activities designed to foster meaningful connections and collaborations among like-minded women, providing the space and opportunity to engage with fellow BossMoms who are also either seeking advice, mentorship or partnership.

“We are aiming for this event to be a fun space where moms can come, relax and enjoy themselves, so naturally we will have resident BossMom DJ Kiki setting the vibe with eclectic music, alongside the dynamic Debbie Bissoon as our host. Select Brands is also on board to provide the tastiest cocktails and wines for our moms,” she shared.

Attendees will also enjoy a unique culinary experience, featuring a variety of delicious, healthy fast-food options from Restaurants of Jamaica, offering servings of Wendy’s, Pizza Hut and KFC. This will provide the BossMoms with a well-deserved break from the kitchen.

Blend will be hosted at the sophisticated Proven Place Building, by Proven Properties, providing a stunning backdrop for this landmark event. It promises to be an evening filled with inspiration, celebration and appreciation.
