The Bluefields Villas Foundation (BVF) was one of the principal contributors to the recently launched exhibition of the Fine Art Printmakers Association at the UWI Regional Headquarters on Wednesday (June 15).

The title of the exhibit is “Di Times Change: Artists Respond to Climate Change and Environmental Challenges”.

Guest speaker, author and environmental advocate Diana McCaulay spoke about the importance of the artistic voice in motivating climate action.

BVF board member Margaret Bernal spoke to the importance of utilising art in education as well as helping youth to adjust to the various challenges that confront them.

Over 60 works from 23 artists were included in the show, which runs through July 15.
