Detectives in St. James have charged a 31-year-old butler in connection with a multi-million-dollar robbery that occurred at the intersection of Upper Bevin Avenue and Market Circle, Montego Bay, on June 24.

The accused has been identified as Nicoy Ramsay, otherwise called ‘Nick’, of Esher, Hanover. He has been charged with robbery with aggravation and unlawful wounding.

Reports from the police indicate that about 8:30 pm, two employees of a trading company were travelling in a motor truck when they were ambushed by Ramsay and another man, both armed.
