The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) has committed to strengthen its collaboration with the Bank of China (BoC) regarding development financing for the region.

To this end, bank president Dr. Gene Leon welcomed a delegation from the Panama branch of the BoC during a courtesy call to CDB head office in St. Michael, Barbados on Friday (September 8).

The two banking institutions engaged in discussions on opportunities for collaborations in the areas of climate finance, agriculture and water resources.

The talks between Zhang Gang, head of the Bank of China Panama branch, and Dr. Leon bore fruit as they sought to strengthen and solidify the relationship between both entities.
