Charlton Athletic Football Club in London has announced the signing of 19-year-old Jamaican footballer Kaheim Dixon on a four-year contract.
The promising young talent joins the League One club from Arnett Gardens, a Jamaica Premier League team, in a move facilitated by Charlton’s connections with Dixon’s national team and their partnership with Mount Pleasant, as detailed on the club’s website.
Dixon, who will don jersey number 13, has already made a name for himself in football.

Last season, he played a pivotal role in Clarendon College’s success, leading them to two titles in the ISSA schoolboys’ competition with an impressive tally of 32 goals and 17 assists. His standout performances also earned him a spot with the Reggae Boyz, where he scored twice and participated in the Copa America in June.
Dixon expressed his excitement about joining the Addicks for his first professional opportunity. He mentioned his happiness at being with a teammate from his country and his eagerness to start playing and help the team.

With Dixon’s arrival, Charlton Athletic adds another promising young player to their squad, and fans will be watching closely to see how the Jamaican winger performs in his new role.
