Chas E Ramsom, through its brand Foska Oats, has recommitted its partnership with the Professional Football Jamaica (PFJL) to the tune of $24m over two years.
The deal, which will be in cash and kind, was announced at Chas E Ramson’s head office on Spanish Town Road on Thursday.
Managing director Christopher Ramson noted that the partnership has been very fruitful over the years.
“We’ve enjoyed it. It’s been a good partnership. As you know, Foska is all about living a healthy and active lifestyle. So, we have focused on supporting the growth of our nation through sports.
“Currently, we’ve seen tremendous strides being made in the Premier League with the administration and the exposure that they’re giving sponsors, which exposes what gets you the sponsors on board and what drives the cash to make the whole thing function,” Ramson said.
Foska Oats will once again be associated with Jamaica Premier League champion Cavalier SC, who are also the Caribbean champions.

“We’ve been fortunate. Cavalier has done very well for the last couple of seasons, and I’ve seen tremendous growth in the players over the years,” Ramson added.
Meanwhile, Owen Hill, CEO of the PFJL, was extremely grateful for the continued partnership and faith Chase E Ramson has placed in the organisers of local football.
“It’s a wonderful time in the life of Professional Football Jamaica, the Jamaica Premier League, and then by extension our partners, Chas E Ramson, as you know them, more specifically, Foska,” said Hill. “We’re excited about the possibility of the future. We’ve been having discussions, and what we know for sure is that our partner, Chas, in specific terms, Foska, would have made their commitment.”
The PFJL has secured over $1 billion worth of sponsorship deals from corporate Jamaica over the last five years, as the organisation continues to elevate the image of local football and the Jamaica Premier League.
