Jamaican AI-driven customer-support platform ChatFlow Limited has completed its participation in the JAMPRO Ministerial Mission to the Guyanese capital Georgetown, held from June 11-12.

Participation in the mission was made possible through the support of the Musson Foundation, led by deputy chairman Melanie Subratie, and seed-stage investor network FirstAngels Caribbean (FAC) and virtual business incubator, RevUP Caribbean, led by Sandra Glasgow.

“Musson believes that cultivating home-grown technology is critical to Caribbean competitiveness,” said Melanie Subratie, chair of the Musson Foundation. “Supporting ChatFlow’s expansion into Guyana aligns with our mandate to foster innovation that opens regional opportunity.”

Sandra Glasgow, managing director of FAC, added, “ChatFlow led by Michael Mullings, a RevUP Caribbean alumnus, is a fine example of the high-impact innovative startup that we champion. The company’s presence on the Guyana mission underscores the caliber of ventures emerging from the FAC and RevUP pipelines.”

The highlights of the mission included:

  • Strategic meetings with Guyanese banks, telecoms and hospitality groups – sectors experiencing double-digit growth in customer-contact demand.
  • Live demonstrations of ChatFlow’s sentiment-analysis chatbot, generating data that will feed the company’s pending patent for emotion-aware conversational AI.
  • Commitments to pilot ChatFlow’s platform with two Guyanese BPO operators and one regional hotel group, representing a combined addressable base of 7,000+ customer-service seats.
  • Engagement with CARICOM policymakers on the role of AI in elevating service-sector productivity across the region.

The support from the Musson Foundation and FirstAngels Caribbean covered ChatFlow’s travel and accommodation costs, enabling the company to join the mission and demonstrate Jamaican AI innovation on a regional stage.

ChatFlow is a Kingston-based SaaS company that delivers 24/7, sentiment-aware customer support for banks, telecoms, e-commerce and hospitality brands. The platform’s proprietary AI engine understands Caribbean dialects, scales to two million concurrent sessions, and eliminates customer wait times.
