CMA /CGM Jamaica freight company has decided to swap terminal operations in Cape Town, South Africa.

This is due to the current weather and berthing delay in Cape Town container terminal in which the company’s container ships are supposed to be birthed.

However, given the foregoing challenges, the company has decided to swap terminal operations in the South African capital city.

As a result, CMA/CGM Jamaica will now call at the Cape Town Multi-Purpose terminal (CTMPT) instead of Cape Town Container Terminal (CTCT).

CMA CGM Jamaica is therefore expected to berth at CTMPT this Friday (February 24). All impacted bookings will be amended by the close of business today (February 20).
