

In Corporate Movements this week, Main Event Entertainment Group is advising of the resignation of finance manager Gregory Paul Campbell, effective July 21.
The company noted that a transition plan for the finance manager position is currently underway. Main Event, which is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), promised to provide updates as they become available. The management thanked Campbell, saying it greatly benefited from his professional experience and wished him well in his future endeavours.
KREMI appoints new director
The directors of Caribbean Cream Limited, which trades as Kremi, advise of the appointment of a new director in Simon Roberts. His appointment took effect on July 1.

Roberts was also appointed to be a member of the company’s audit and risk management and compensation/nominations/corporate governance committees on the same date.
New VP at Barita
Barita Investments has appointed Lucien Leach as vice president of its risk portfolio, effective June 16.
Salada director passes

The board, management and staff of Salada Foods Jamaica Limited regret to advise of the passing of its beloved director, Eric Stultz, who transitioned on July 12. Stultz faithfully served as a member of Salada’s board of directors for over 17 years.
His knowledge, expertise, and wisdom have been invaluable to the company over the years. Staffers, who have had the privilege of working alongside him, will greatly miss him.

Massy Group is announcing the appointment of Ryan Latchu to the post of group executive vice president and portfolio CEO of its motors and machine portfolio. The appointment takes effect October 1.
Incoming Angostura Holdings chairman

Gary Hunt, former sports minister under the Patrick Manning administration in Trinidad & Tobago, is being tipped to become the next chairman of Angostura Holdings Ltd.
Hunt served as Member of Parliament for Port of Spain North/St Ann’s West and Cabinet minister under the People’s National Movement (PNM) from November 2007 until May 2010, when Kamla Persad-Bissessar was first elected prime minister.
Hunt is one of six individuals that shareholders are being asked to elect to the company’s board of directors at a special meeting scheduled for August 6 at the House of Angostura. The other proposed directors are Patricia Dindyal, Shival Maharaj, Roxane De Freitas, Fraser Thornton, and Jennifer Frederick.
The election of the new board comes just over two months after the former board demitted office. All five members of the previous board resigned on June 3.
TSTT CEO resigns

Kent Western has resigned as chief executive of Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT). Keino Cox, assistant VP of emerging services and innovation, has been appointed acting CEO, effective immediately.
Western was officially appointed as CEO in October 2024, after serving as acting CEO from November 14, 2023, following the departure of Lisa Agard in the wake of a major cybersecurity breach at the organisation.
“During his tenure, Mr Western led the company through a period of transformation that included a return to profitability, improved customer satisfaction scores, and increased employee satisfaction,” TSTT said in a statement.
