Mayberry Group is advising of the resignation of Andrea Whittaker as chief operating officer of its subsidiary, Mayberry Investments Limited.

Her resignation is effective April 12.

Avinash Persaud resigns

Proven Group has announced that Avinash Persaud has resigned from the board of directors, effective January 24.

Persaud, having served in his capacity as a non-executive independent director for over seven years, brought his vast experience in the financial sector to the board. Proven has wished him all the best in his future endeavours.

Laren Peart appointed independent director of Fontana

Subject to the requirements of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market Rule Appendix 1, the board of directors of Fontana Limited has announced the appointment of Laren Peart as an independent director.

He has been drafted on the Fontana Board’s Audit & Compensation Committees, effective Friday, February 9. The committees are now comprised of four members, of which three are independent directors.
