C&W Business, as technology partner of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), is revelling in the successful staging of the 2024 JSE Investments & Capital Markets Conference, which opened on Tuesday (January 23).

The company, in a statement, said it took great pride in its role to foster uninterrupted internet connectivity and collaboration, one C&W Business has held since the conference’s inception nearly two decades ago in 2006.

“The annual conference stands as a pivotal platform, fostering the convergence of key stakeholders within the financial services sector to network, exchange ideas, and glean insights from thought leaders across diverse industries,” C&W Business noted.

This year, the Liberty Latin America subsidiary played a pivotal role in the success of the conference by ensuring seamless connectivity for live streaming, offering Wi-Fi access to in-person attendees, and facilitating smooth point-of-sale )POS) transactions for the conference registration team.

Beyond these technological contributions, the event provided C&W Business with a valuable opportunity to connect with its customers, many of whom are listed on the stock exchange.

“As the preferred technology partner for Jamaica’s public and private sectors, we are committed to national development and eagerly anticipate more opportunities to contribute to the success of such impactful events in the future,” the company added.
