Government minister Daryl Vaz is celebrating the safe delivery of a healthy grandchild, Addison Emory Vaz, who was born at an undisclosed hospital last Tuesday (February 8).

Vaz, member of parliament for Western Portland, in a Facebook post on February 16, is pictured with wife and fellow East Portland MP, Ann Marie Vaz—reflecting proudly on the ever-expanding Vaz dynasty.

Addison is the first child from the marriage of Adam and Shannon Vaz, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary on November 14, 2021.

“Second Grandchild and it feels good! Congratulations to my son @addyvaz and his wife @shannonbvaz on the birth of their healthy daughter Addison Emory Vaz. Feb 11 will forever be etched in my heart thanks to this bundle of joy,” Vaz commented.

Second-time grandma, Ann Marie Vaz, clarified on Twitter she and her husband first met little Addison three days after she was born.

The Portland political power couple’s first grandchild, Chelsea Crooks, was born on April 9, 2020.
