

The Jamaica Productivity Centre (JPC) has extended the deadline for potential entrants to submit required items tot he Productivity Innovation Competition.
In speaking with Our Today the JPC shared that the “Productivity Innovation Competition was launched in 2021. In 2022, we added the Productivity Innovator of the Year Award for Businesses and Organisations to the competition series. This year, the JPC is celebrating its 20th anniversary and the competition is a key activity in our celebrations. The winners will be announced at our flagship event to be held on World Productivity Day on June 20”.
The Productivity Innovation Competition seeks to promote, encourage and reward the development of transformative ideas that can boost sustainable productivity improvement. This year the competition is being held under the theme ‘Paving Productivity Pathways for a Prosperous Nation’.


The JPC says that the competition is open to all Jamaican nationals residing in Jamaica. Participants are expected to submit an idea on how to improve productivity at either the personal, firm or national level, and ideas should be applicable to the Jamaican context.
“We also encourage corporate Jamaica to partner with the JPC to recognise the innovative ideas of our citizens, said the JPC.
