Jamaica Broilers Group and its subsidiary are calling on Jamaicans and visitors to the island to join its movement ‘Building a Nation through Agriculture’ at the 71st staging of the Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial & Food Show.

Slated to begin Friday, August 1, the three-day event will feature display booths, expert-led presentations and tours with several government officials.

“Join us as we bring ‘Building a Nation through Agriculture’ to life with expert-led presentations on heat stress management and the benefits of Sunblock and Detia Ants Powder. Our booth will also feature displays and conversations from our partners at Jamaica Egg Farmers Association, Jamaica Pig Farmers Association, Jamaica Network of Rural Women Producers (JNRWP) and Jamaica Tower Farm,” an invitation from Jamaica Broilers outlined.

“Each will showcase how their work strengthens agriculture’s crucial role in driving national development and empowering communities,” it added.

On the first day of the event, custos rotulorum for the parish of Clarendon, Edith Chin, representing Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, and Leader of the Opposition Mark Golding, will tour the Denbigh grounds. Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining Floyd Green will tour the venue on day two, followed by Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness on the closing day, August 3.

For the final day of the event, the lead sponsor and organisers promise a lively ‘Denbigh Gospel Extravaganza’ featuring Minister Carlene Davis, Levy’s Heritage, Sista Pat, Jodian Pantry, and George Nooks.

Admission to Denbigh is $1,500 for adults and $600 for children.
