Derrimon Trading Company Limited (DTL) commenced its 25th-anniversary celebrations with a solemn church service, held at the Fellowship Tabernacle on Sunday, January 21.
The distinguished event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including Sir Patrick Linton Allen, Governor-General of Jamaica, and Robert Nesta Morgan, minister without portfolio with responsibility for information in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).

Led by Pastor Al Miller, head minister of Fellowship Tabernacle, the service brought together employees, partners, and well-wishers to acknowledge the company’s quarter-century journey of excellence, resilience, and community engagement.
Derrick Cotterell, chairman and CEO at Derrimon Trading Company Limited, expressed gratitude and reflected on the company’s remarkable journey during the anniversary service.

“As we come together in this moment, let’s think about the journey we’ve undertaken, driven by faith and steered by the hand of God. Standing here today, we are living proof of resilience and steadfast determination,” said Cotterell.
“On behalf of the whole team, we extend our deepest thanks to the church, our supporters, and each member of the Derrimon family. As we continue this journey, we remain committed, knowing that with a good succession plan and a strong corporate compass, we intend to be around for a long time. Thank you, and may God continue to bless us all,” he continued.

The service, marked by robust praise and worship, featured ministry in song by the Derrimon Group Voices, reflections on the company’s evolution, and a compelling message on the spiritual pillar of faith by Pastor Al Miller.
In his remarks, Morgan praised DTL’s 25-year journey as “an inspiring tale of adding value to society, standing tall in competition, and actively shaping the future”.

The church service kicks off a series of events and initiatives planned throughout the year to celebrate the company’s 25 years of success. Derrimon Trading looks forward to engaging with its stakeholders, expressing gratitude, and reinforcing its commitment to excellence in the years to come.
