The Derrimon Trading Company Limited marked Labour Day with the execution of its beautification project at the Central Branch All-Age School located on Slipe Pen Road.

Spearheaded by the team at Woodcats International Ltd – a subsidiary of the group, senior executives of Derrimon Trading, including Executive Director and Group Human Resource Manager Monique Cotterell and Chief Marketing Officer Kim Lee were also joined by team members from another subsidiary of the company, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances.

The Central Branch All-Age school is a part of the community in Slipe Pen, where the Woodcats International offices are located and currently employs a number of persons living in and around the area. The hardworking team were able to achieve a mini-facelift to the institution by landscaping both the side garden and front planters, as well as refreshed a few classrooms with a coat of paint to brighten the children’s surroundings.

The teams from Derrimon Trading Limited, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances FF, Spicy Hill Farms and Woodcats International are all smiles as they embrace the efforts of the day ahead.

The Derrimon Trading Company teams also partnered with the Rotary Club to improve the playground by crafting a mural, painting the jungle gyms, swings and centre planter in which they will be planting a tree.

As a team, they set out together with the goal of enriching the lives of all the school’s adherents.

“Community is important and there is great value in interactions with consumers, suppliers, and colleagues everyday. It is important to set aside time to give back in a consolidated way to those around,” shared Lee.
