Digicel awarded fastest mobile network in Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu and Tonga

Digicel Pacific has been awarded the fastest mobile network provider in Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu and Tonga by world renowned Ookla.

Ookla is a world leader in mobile and broadband network intelligence, testing, applications and network.

Regional Digicel Pacific CEO, Sally Janiff says this award reaffirms Digicel’s commitment to delivering unmatched network speed and world class connectivity experience to its customers across the Pacific region.

She adds that winning the Speedfast Award in these four markets is a testament to the Digicel Pacific team’s relentless dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.

According to Janiff, the award is a reflection of real customer experience as well as continuous investments in the development and quality of the network.

For his part, Ookla president and CEO of Stephen Bye commented that after conducting an in-depth analysis of consumer-initiated test taken with Speedfast, Digicel has been named the fastest mobile network in Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu.

He noted that the award is given to mobile network operators that demonstrate exceptional speed and performance in comparison to other major mobile network in the market for the first and second quarters of 2023.
