Digicel Business is counting down the hours until the launch of its Digital Transformation Research Report and Guide on Thursday (January 27), and coinciding with the report launch is the January episode of the Ahead of the Curve Business Webinar.

With so many businesses forced to accelerate their digital transformation journey because of COVID-19, Digicel Business sought to gain a deeper understanding of the impact on businesses across the region, and to provide tangible solutions to the challenges.

This month’s session will deep dive into the topic and will feature Digicel’s Bryan Kane, Head of Solutions & Products for Digicel Group, who will be sharing insights, from the report, based on research conducted in the Caribbean.

Also featured as a guest speaker this month is Alex Siu Chong, CEO of Excellent Stores, Trinidad & Tobago’s largest department store chain with five local outlets and one retail branch in Saint Lucia.

With a flourishing online presence, serving a wide range of customers throughout Trinidad & Tobago and Saint Lucia, Alex and the Excellent Stores brand serve as an excellent role model for digital transformation in the region.

Alex can also provide insight on his experience championing digital transformation within his business and the benefits that have come from it.

Liam Donnelly, Digicel Group Chief Business Officer said: “This month’s webinar is a timely one, and with most businesses forced to accelerate their digital transformation journey in some way as a result of the pandemic, having Bryan and Alex discuss digital transformation gives our viewers a closer look at what the journey entails. This session will not only provide insights, but also case studies, best practices and actionable steps for achieving success, that show others how to enhance, deliver and grow with digital transformation.”

Liam continued: “This information can guide not only our Digicel Business customers, but also any entrepreneur who is looking at digital transformation and wondering how to go about it or how it can benefit them.”

The report, once launched on Thursday, will be available to anyone, free of cost, on the Digicel Business website. The Ahead of the Curve series is all about bringing the best of the best straight to Digicel’s business audience and over the next few months, the webinar series will continue to explore a number of other important topics that are pivotal to businesses today.

Designed especially for business decision-makers and influencers, the sessions will be most beneficial to entrepreneurs, information technology/security directors and managers, CEO/CFOs, and infrastructure, operations and digital transformation senior-level professionals. The Ahead of the Curve series features candid conversations with solutions experts and business authorities across the region.
