American record producer and self-proclaimed Jamaican, DJ Khaled, is working on a new ‘secret album’ with United States (US) artistes and has hopped to Jamaica in an effort to finish it up.

Khaled took to Instagram to showcase the hip hop/R&B artistes flown in to the island, including rap trio Migos and HER and to further promote the album he says is 97.9 per cent done.

The Major Key producer landed in Jamaica on Wednesday (April 7) and was greeted with a buffet of local cuisine including Escovitch fish, oxtail and so much more.

He also met up with Jamaican reggae icon Buju Banton, who is considered a member of Khaled’s family.

Khaled, who has travelled to Jamaica on numerous occasions, considers himself an islander as is always welcomed by locals.
