The St George’s College’s ‘A Knight’s Dialogue: Pioneers of Tomorrow’ lecture series has been a success and ends the year with Donovan Lewis as special guest speaker on December 3.

Lewis, founder and chairman of the Ideal Group of Companies, stands as arguably Jamaica’s greatest investor with major shareholdings in Scotia Group Jamaica, GraceKennedy, PanJam Group, Sagicor and NCB, to name but a few.

His is a story of humble beginnings and a will to succeed through honourable endeavours and should serve as inspiration to attending students.

Last week, students from St George’s College spent some time at Donovan Lewis’ office, where they had lunch, and he imparted words of wisdom.

Among those gathered was Dr David Walcott, founder and managing Partner of the medical facilities company Novamed.

Lewis pointed to Dr Walcott’s accomplishments as a Rhodes scholar and his ability to speak seven languages, citing him as a good example of what one can do with hard work, education and determination.
