Enterprise Holdings Inc. (EHI) says it is contributing US$250,000 to the American Red Cross to support ongoing relief and recovery efforts following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
In Jamaica, this contribution is supported locally through ATL Automotive Group, the franchise partners for Alamo Rent-A-Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental.
EHI, the global group company of the Enterprise Mobility family of brands, in a statement, said that its contribution reflects a commitment to supporting relief partners and fostering resilience within the communities it serves.
Adam Stewart, executive chairman of ATL Automotive Group, remarked, “As Jamaicans, we know all too well the heartbreak that comes in the wake of a major storm, but we also know the strength, resilience, and community spirit that rise in response.”
“Through this partnership with the Enterprise Mobility group of companies—Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent-A-Car, and National Car Rental—and the American Red Cross, we are helping to ensure that families and businesses in the hardest-hit communities receive the support they urgently need today, while laying the groundwork for recovery tomorrow,” he continued.

“At ATL Automotive Group, our commitment goes far beyond selling and renting vehicles. We are deeply invested in the well-being of Jamaica and the wider Caribbean, and we will continue to stand with our people as they rebuild, recover, and move forward stronger than before.”
Additionally, Isidro Loaiza, vice president of global franchising at Enterprise Mobility, stated, “At Enterprise Mobility, we are honoured to stand alongside our partners during this critical time. This contribution to the American Red Cross from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation will help provide essential relief supplies, emergency shelter, and recovery support to those most affected by Hurricane Melissa”.
“The devastation has deeply impacted Jamaica, and our thoughts are with its people, particularly on the western side of the island. The Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) are already doing extraordinary work on the ground, and we remain committed to standing with these communities as they rebuild and recover,” he said further.
