Fashion Week may be over but it was rebirthed last Sunday, July 30, at the Kingston Creative Art walk.

With Red Stripe Flavours as the main sponsor and ‘Fashion Ova Style’ as the theme, the non-profit arts organisation pulled out all the stops to showcase Jamaica’s vibrant culture and talents at Water Lane, in downtown Kingston.

“I’m Blessed” singer Sevana had the crowd in a constant lyric chant at Waterlane, downtown Kingston.

The event featured an entertaining and vibrant runway of models, who fiercely strutted designer pieces by Mamayashi, Neahlis, Shades of African and a Red Stripe-inspired display by Kadian Nicely Exclusive.

Founder of Saint International Models, Dewight Peters, added to the day’s jollity by hosting his “Face of Summer” model search activation in the space, where models from far and wide seized the opportunity to become the next face of Saint International.

Scores of patrons joined in on the day-long event of fun, amplified by a special performance by Mango hit-maker, Sevana. She delivered a wholesome show while attendees enjoyed cool beers, tasty food, and great music mixes by DJ Fenix.

African prints never go out of style and designer Tanya Cameron’s ‘Shades of Africa’ collection left patrons in awe at the Red Stripe Flavours ‘Fashion Ova Style’ at the Kingston Creative Artwalk. (L-R) Models Davina Henry, Makeda Haber, Ananda Squire, and Zurich Hentley were among those who strutted the collection in style.
