Detectives assigned to the Trelawny Policing Division have formally charged five men with being part of a Criminal Organisation.

The charges relate to a series of incidents in the parish between Friday, December 5, 2025 and Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The five are:

  1. Kardell Williams, 47-year-old, of Mammee Bay, St Ann;
  2. Decarclova Lewis, 39-year-old, shopkeeper of Windsor Road, St. Ann’s Bay, St Ann;
  3. Franlyn Crosse, 46-year-old, of Henlon, Norwood, St James,
  4. Omar Anthony Collman, 33-year-old, of Coral Gardens, Montego Bay, St. James, and
  5. Randy Murray, 40-year-old, of Farm Pen, Westmoreland.

The police are alleging that the accused are part of a criminal network that orchestrated a series of coordinated attacks targeting multiple establishments across the parish. Investigators say the incidents resulted in the theft of goods and cash collectively valued at more than J$20 million.

On Saturday, April 11, the accused men were intercepted during a police operation and reportedly found in possession of goods and cash in Jamaican, United States, Canadian and Pound Sterling currencies.

They were taken into custody and have now been charged following interviews conducted by investigators. Their court date is being finalised.
