Five new directors have been elected to the board of the Realtors Association of Jamaica (RAJ) at its recent annual general meeting (AGM) held in Kingston.
They are Nicholas Bogle, Joan Latis-Sterling, Garth Graham, Natalia Long and Anya Kerr-Jarrett.
The AGM of the 1,600-strong membership culminated in the successful election of the five new board members, a moment celebrated by RAJ president Newton Johnson.
Johnson reported that the AGM, “Not only showcased the vital role of the real estate industry in Jamaica’s growth but also highlighted the collective efforts of key stakeholders, including distinguished guest speakers and industry experts, in championing excellence and innovation in the sector.”
The RAJ president expressed satisfaction with the AGM’s outcomes saying, “This year’s AGM has been a resounding success. It has reaffirmed our commitment to fostering a robust and resilient real estate sector in Jamaica. We are grateful to our keynote and guest speakers, presenters, and all attendees for their invaluable contributions. Together, we will continue to champion excellence and innovation in the industry.”
The RAJ is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors in the United States and is also one of the largest professional associations in Jamaica, serving realtors and affiliate members.
Its team of professionals is dedicated to connecting its members with the services, tools, and programs that enhance their careers while working in the community to promote the importance of home ownership and using the services of a realtor.
