In a show of support for education and youth achievement, telecoms provider Flow Jamaica honoured the exceptional performance of Titchfield High School in the 2025 TVJ Schools’ Challenge Quiz.
As part of a special presentation held at the school on May 5, Flow gifted a smart board and two multimedia projectors to the institution, enhancing the Portland-based school’s digital learning capabilities.
This contribution is in addition to the laptops previously awarded to each member of the winning quiz team.
Marketing head at Flow, Latoy Lawrence, said the donation underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to digital empowerment and the advancement of education through technology.
“At Flow we believe that technology is a powerful tool for transformation, and by investing in smart learning tools, we’re helping to fuel the next generation of thinkers, leaders, and innovators,” said Lawrence.
Speaking on the company’s sponsorship of the TVJ Schools’ Challenge Quiz, Lawrence added: “This sponsorship is an expression of our commitment to youth empowerment and national development. By supporting the Schools’ Challenge Quiz, we are not only celebrating academic excellence but also reinforcing our promise to keep Jamaica connected, inspired, and moving forward.”

“This smart board and the projectors are more than just equipment — they are catalysts for engagement, collaboration, and creativity in the classroom,” he said. “Our teachers will use them daily to make lessons more interactive and accessible, ensuring students are not only learning but are excited to learn.”
Titchfield High narrowly beat Jamaica College 26-23 for its second hold on the title at TVJ studios on April 8 The team, led by captain Alex Anderson, captured the interest of the nation with their confidence and unconventional style to their responses.
Anderson shared the team’s appreciation for the support, noting that the entire school community would benefit.

“Winning the quiz was a dream come true, and the recognition from Flow has made it even more special. We are extremely grateful for this support as I’m sure it would have eased some of the financial burden on the school. These tools will help us and future students reach higher, think bigger, and do better,” Anderson said.
The Schools’ Challenge Quiz remains one of Jamaica’s most respected academic platforms, showcasing the brilliance, discipline, and determination of students across the island.
Flow said that its continued support of the competition reflects a broader company mission to empower students and uplift the next generation through technology and education.
