October is a vibrant month in Miami, the beating heart of Florida offering something for everyone.

Miami Carnival

As one of the premier celebrations of Caribbean culture in Miami and the largest carnival in North America, Miami Carnival 2023 culminates on Sunday, October 8 when thousands of revelers participate in the Mas Band Parade and concert at the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo.

In addition to the parade and concert, other Miami Carnival events include Panorama on Friday, October 6 when you can enjoy sweet steel pan music at the Central Broward Park Cricket Stadium and Official J’ouvert on Saturday, October 7.

The Carnival Village will feature an expansive selection of Caribbean culinary delights in the food court as well as arts and crafts from vendors offering jewelry, souvenirs, toys, games, pottery and more.

The ultimate event for seafoodies, the South Beach Seafood Festival takes place from October 18 – 21. .
