Through Food For The Poor’s (FFTP) “Fuel for a Cause” campaign, carried out in partnership with Texaco Jamaica, 50 cents from every litre of fuel purchased at Texaco service stations islandwide will be donated to Food For The Poor until June 19, 2026.
The initiative transforms an everyday necessity into an act of giving, allowing motorists to support vulnerable individuals and families across Jamaica. Proceeds will help Food For The Poor continue its mission of providing food, housing, education, healthcare and other critical support to those facing hardship.
At a time when many families continue to grapple with economic challenges, the campaign offers a practical and accessible way for people to contribute to positive change.

For decades, Food For The Poor has relied on the generosity of individuals, donors and corporate partners to carry out its humanitarian work. The organization hopes that Fuel for a Cause will inspire Jamaicans to recognize the power of collective action and demonstrate how small contributions, multiplied across thousands of people, can lead to significant impact.
As the June 19 deadline approaches, Food For The Poor is encouraging motorists across the island to visit their nearest Texaco service station and help turn every litre into hope.
