After a full year of restrictions, Jamaica’s entertainment sector roared back to life Wednesday (July 14) as I Love Soca served carnival fans a needed release from tabanca.
As the first large-scale event since the entertainment industry got the green light to reopen in July, and with curfew restrictions still in place, the ask for patrons to turn out early and enjoy a wholesome and safe party experience was answered—much to the delight of the event’s promoters.
With positive reviews, the socially distanced I Love Soca is surely a testament to how events can be successfully held in adherence to the coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention protocols.
I Love Soca’s Stadium East staging was the perfect setting to free oneself of all inhibitions and Jamaicans were fully outside to revel!
