Florida will again celebrate the best of Caribbean culture on Sunday, November 9, with the 23rd staging of the annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, the largest Caribbean food festival in the United States.

The event returns to its popular venue at Miramar Regional Park and will be presented by Publix and VP Records.

Event organisers said in a press release that the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival is not just about delicious jerk chicken and mouthwatering
island flavours, but a rich cultural culinary festival experience with a side of an incredible Sunday dinner vibe.

“Guests will enjoy culinary delights from top Jamaican and Caribbean chefs and food vendors showcasing authentic jerk cuisine and innovative twists on a variety of cuisine from the West Indies,” the press release stated.

Although not yet finalised, there is expected to be live performances from gospel, reggae and dancehall superstars; a celebrity cook-off with chefs on the Publix Culinary Stage, cultural presentations with a showcase of the Caribbean experience; and an authentic marketplace featuring a wide range of exciting merchandise and arts and crafts.

During a recent interview, Eddy Edwards, Chief Executive Officer, Jamaican Jerk Festival USA, Inc., stated, “Each year, the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival grows in excitement and energy, and this year we’re raising the bar even higher.

“Our focus remains on delivering the authentic flavours of Jamaican jerk cuisine while enhancing the overall patron experience—from food to entertainment to family fun. We want every guest to walk away feeling that this year’s festival was truly something special.”

For 23 unforgettable years, the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival has been South Florida’s ultimate celebration of Caribbean flavour, culture, and community.
