Suburban rottweiler Han Solo, who took Jamaican Twitter by storm a few weeks ago after his viral exploits, was up to his usual antics as he seemingly ran off on Wednesday (May 8)

Reminiscent of the nomadic ‘Star Wars‘ character after whom he was named, Han Solo has his own interpretation of the “uptown” lifestyle, which includes sauntering off to explore the city, according to his owner who goes by Demigod on X.com. The playful Rottie is definitely living up to his namesake, the reckless, quick-witted smuggler Han Solo from the Star Wars universe.

The initial post that caught the attention of Jamaicans on X.com, formerly Twitter, was a plea from the owner to assist her in getting her pet safely home. She like many pet owners nowadays, had air-tagged Han Solo, and was able to track him to a nearby golf course.

“Guys, my uptown dog is running around the block as he tends to do and has stopped at the golf club. If you see him, please just tell him to go home. Do not feed him, I assure you he is well fed. Run him home please and thanks!” the tweet read.

The @dammitdemi post garnered over 6.4 million impressions, 45,000 likes and 3,900 reposts.

She subsequently found and retrieved him from the golf course, where he was seen with a few other dogs (presumably strays) having a grand ol’ time.

It appears that the streets were calling and Han Solo simply had to answer yesterday, as he ran off from home, again.

“In other news, Han Solo is roaming the streets again. You guys know the drill, run him home if you see him! I’ve put the AirTag in lost mode so if anyone gets nearby and sees him, my contact info should come up if you’re terrified of the rock wilder. Thanks in advance,” she posted on Wednesday.

This time around, however, @dammitdemi triggered the ire of Jamaican Twitter as many accused her of engagement farming from her verified X account and not being a more reasonable pet owner by chaining Han Solo.

Although she later revealed that her furry friend was home safely the whole time, there is an adventurer in Han that many still cannot help but appreciate.
