Red Stripe has issued an alert that a current promotion circulating online is false as the company is not currently endorsing any form of promotional subsidy.

“Red Stripe has become aware of a website link circulating online entitled ‘Red Stripe 105th Anniversary Promotion Subsidy’, which includes the unauthorised use of Red Stripe’s trade name and trademarks and falsely promises an opportunity to win cash,” Red Stripe said in a release this morning (March 21).

“We would like to advise our customers and the public that this ‘promotion’ is a hoax and is not connected to the Red Stripe brand.”

The brewer noted that the unauthorised use of Red Stripe’s trade name and trademarks is contrary to the law.

The company is therefore urging individuals engaged in the practice to immediately cease and desist the posting, sharing and broadcasting and re-posting, re-sharing and rebroadcasting of the website link in question.

“We thank our loyal customers for their continued support. For accurate information on Red Stripe promotions or offerings, please visit our website at www.redstripebeer.com or follow our social media platforms @redstripe,” the company said.

The workshop aimed to strengthen Jamaica’s preparedness and response systems following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.

After-Action Reviews are a standard tool in emergency management, used to assess response efforts, capture lessons learned, and improve coordination, planning, and operational systems for future events. Importantly, aligning the AAR process with the International Health Regulations (IHR) ensures that the evaluation of public health emergencies meets globally recognised standards, strengthening Jamaica’s ability to detect, assess, report, and respond to health threats in a timely and effective manner.

In a statement released Tuesday (March), USCIS said its review of pending workloads and benefit applications revealed that prior screening measures were “wholly inadequate.” According to the agency, many applicants for naturalisation and lawful permanent residence were not sufficiently vetted, creating risks to national security and public safety while undermining the integrity of the immigration system.
