Protoje’s Lost in Time Festival, held on the weekend at Palm Drive, Hope Gardens is being regarded by partygoers as one for the history books.

The Saturday (February 25) event saw patrons rolling in from as early as 3:00 pm to indulge in an immersive festival experience boasting two stages, a diverse food court, and positive reggae vibrations. The line-up featured performances from Chronixx, Lila Iké, Mortimer, Sevana, Tessallated, Naomi Cowan, Ras-I, and Jesse Royal.

In what can be described as a world-class production, the Red Stripe-sponsored event earned high marks for exceptional execution. With on-time performances, excellent audio-visual quality, and an element of non-stop surprise guest performances from icons such as Chronixx, Aidonia, and Popcaan, the Lost in Time Festival was a music lovers’ dream.

Lauded by fans and organisers as a massive success, the general sentiment that can be agreed on is that ‘you just had to be there’.
