CEO of Ikonwork Veda Samai highlighted the need for companies to implement simplified application processes at the recent staging of the Global Services Association of Jamaica (GSAJ) Conference & Awards held at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
This year’s staging of the confab, themed “Forward Thinking… What Lies Ahead?”, on July 29, convened industry leaders to discuss critical topics on the future of the global services sector.
Samai offered her insights on the topic “Next Generation Technologies and Data Center Opportunities,” sharing the advantages of the innovative solutions offered by Ikonwork Hire.
Banking on her experience at Ikonspot – the operators of Ikonwork and Ikonwork Hire – the CEO pointed out that attracting top talent begins with the company’s culture and the candidate experience. In the new work environment, candidates don’t want a 10-step application process to apply for a job; they want a quick and seamless operation.
She highlighted that Ikonwork makes the job-hunting process simpler with the integration of a quick and seamless application process. Its sister company, Ikonwork Hire, uses an applicant tracking system that simplifies the recruitment process for companies in the BPO industry.
The system provides a quick and seamless application process, as well as features such as pre-employment checks, skill assessments, and focused voice analysis to help companies choose the right candidates faster.
The AI-powered Applicant Tracking System (ATS) automates time-consuming tasks, allowing recruiters to focus on building relationships and identifying top talent. With features like intelligent candidate matching, streamlined workflows, and comprehensive analytics, it empowers businesses to make data-driven hiring decisions and accelerate time-to-hire.
“Ikonwork is a cutting-edge, AI-powered platform designed to revolutionise the recruitment and hiring process. As part of the Beryllium Limited family, we combine the power of professional networking with advanced applicant tracking technology to create a seamless experience for both job seekers and employers,” the company shared in a release.
“Our innovative software connects talented individuals with exciting opportunities, streamlining the job search and recruitment process. Ikonwork, allows job seekers to build engaging professional profiles, access valuable career resources, and discover their ideal roles,” it added.
The GSAJ Conference & Awards featured other esteemed speakers including Minister of Industry Investment and Commerce Senator Aubyn Hill and Jamaica Promotions Corporation President Shullette Cox. The event facilitated engaging discussions on talent, logistics, and next-generation technologies, offering attendees valuable insights and networking opportunities.
