

Jamaica kicked off their CONCACAF Under-17 World Cup campaign with a 3-1 win over St Lucia in Group H action at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala on Monday February 10.
It moves them a step closer to the FIFA World Cup as they sit on three points, the same as El Salvador, but in second spot based on an inferior goal difference as El Salvador trounced Cayman Islands 8-0.
The winner of the eight groups will directly advance to the 2025 FIFA World Cup set November in Qatar.

Dario White then doubled Jamaica’s advantage in minute 50 before Jahmarie Nolan made the game safe putting Jamaica 3-0 in the 55th minute.
Shevon Byron cut the deficit for St Lucia in the 73rd minute following some indecisive defending a slotted home.
Jamaica will play Cayman Islands on Wednesday, February 12 looking to score as many goals as possible as El Salvador will be playing St Lucia.
Jamaica will then play El Salvador on Friday, February 14 in what is expected to be a top of the table World Cup bound deciding match.
