A number of Jamaican dancehall artistes have been named as headline acts for this year’s staging of the Best of the Best Music Festival to be held on October 10 in Downtown Miami.

The show, which was canceled last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, is expected to feature the likes of Jamaican artistes Tarrus Riley, Spice, Koffee, Ding Dong, Tanya Stephens, and Lady G.

The festival is expected to take place on October 10, as opposed to the May return date organisers were previously eyeing, to maintain the best interest of patrons.

Taking into consideration the safety of our patrons, the uncertainty of the workforce and the climate of the travel industry, we decided to push Best of the Best to October for this one time only

According to the event organiser, Jabba, “Taking into consideration the safety of our patrons, the uncertainty of the workforce and the climate of the travel industry, we decided to push Best of the Best to October for this one time only”.

He added: “This will allow persons to plan travel, hotel and feel more comfortable as the CDC guidelines are more conducive for our style of concert.”

The producers say they have already received the approval to have their annual concert with a higher capacity in October and have disclosed that tickets purchased for the show last year are still valid and can be used to access this year’s event.
