The Harry J Live Couch Series continues a stellar Season 5 with a soulful performance by reggae artiste Jemere Morgan, son of Gramps Morgan and an emerging star in reggae music.
He captivated audiences with a 13-minute, heartfelt performance of three of his most recent songs: Higher We Go, produced by Damian Marley and Sweet Love and Keep Blazing produced by Llamar ‘Riff Raff’ Brown from the Ghetto Youths International Label.
“I chose to sing Keep Blazing because it’s a song that expresses upliftment and self-motivation and sometimes we need a reminder to keep going and to never give up. Higher and Sweet Love is for everyone that knows or wants to know what it truly feels like to be loved by someone,” Jemere said as he reflected on his performance. Jemere Morgan’s official release of Sweet Love is scheduled for January 2025 along with multiple new releases in the new year as he disclosed that he is currently working with Damian Marley on more music.
Filmed in the iconic Harry J Recording Studio, Jemere’s episode reflects the perfect harmony of tradition and innovation that has come to define the Harry J Live Couch Series. “Harry J Studio is not just a studio; it’s a sacred space where so many greats have left their mark. To perform there is to be a part of reggae history and we all know that reggae is about connection, love, and storytelling. Platforms like the Harry J Live Couch Series keep the culture alive and allow artistes like myself to connect directly with audiences worldwide,” said Jemere Morgan.
