Family-owned retailer K-BAN Hardware will officially open its new wholesale retail outlet at 4 East Bell Road in Kingston.
The official opening will take place on Saturday, 27 September 2025, and will be marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with a series of customer-focused promotions and activities.
Founded by Kiran and Maxine Banhan in Linstead, St Catherine, K-BAN has steadily expanded its presence and reputation for affordability and high-quality building materials and finishing products.

Its current expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth plan, as K-BAN offers greater convenience to customers in the Corporate Area while continuing to serve Jamaicans nationwide through its e-commerce platform and delivery network.
“This Kingston outlet is our way of giving our customers more—more in savings, more in access, and more in choice,” Kiran Banhan, chairman of K-BAN Hardware, shared about the new outlet.
“Particularly for customers working on renovation projects or outfitting a new space, we want everyone to benefit from the value that K-BAN is known for,” he added.
The location at 4 East Bell Road will serve both as a retail outlet and a warehouse, enabling the company to stock larger volumes. Moreover, its proximity to the Port of Kingston, coupled with this capacity, will create cost efficiencies that will be passed on to customers.
The new outlet also reflects the company’s increasing focus on lifestyle and finishes, showcasing tiles, doors, paint, fixtures, and other products designed to make home improvement aspirational, convenient, and affordable.

At the same time, the company is doubling down on maintaining the service quality produced and the reputation the K-BAN brand has built over the years. Supporting this push and the leadership of the chairman is a strong leadership team that includes CEO Nalini Banhan-Nembhard, who is driving operational growth and customer engagement.
“K-BAN’s brand has always been deeply rooted in family values, trust, and service to our customers,” stated Banhan-Nembhard.
“With this new wholesale outlet, we’re not just making building supplies more affordable—we’re also showing customers how hardware can transform their spaces to fit into their lifestyles,” she further outlined.

Earlier this year, the company sold its Savanna-la-Mar locations as part of a long-term strategy to strengthen its e-commerce platform and explore expansion opportunities in Kingston.
K-BAN Hardware will continue its operations at the Linstead stores while expanding its presence across the island through digital and delivery services. The Kingston wholesale outlet demonstrates the company’s commitment to growth, innovation, and remaining a trusted partner for homeowners, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts throughout Jamaica.
