Kingston-born reggae artiste Kabaka Pyramid has won the 2023 Grammy for Reggae Album of the Year for his album The Kalling on Sunday (February 5).
While accepting the award, Kabaka, after thanking the Academy and the other nominees, and in addition to thanking everyone who assisted in the production, said: “We’re representing Jamaica, we’re representing the Caribbean, thank you for everybody supporting reggae music, positive, conscious music.”
