Kevin Frith, CEO of TCF Holdings Limited, the developers of St Thomas’ Sun Coast Beach Club has inked a deal with Landmark Group Limited which will see this entity construct houses on the 91-acre property.

Sun Coast Beach Club is a transformational real estate development project in St Thomas which will consist of both residential and commercial properties.

The project is expected to come in at a cost of J$35 billion.

Frith has explained that the project will be completed in two phases, totalling 396 units.  The first phase will house 133 units of two-bedroom townhouses and two-bedroom duplexes beginning at a cost of US$350,000.

Our Today went on a tour of the first phase and the units are first class. Already, there is demand with over half the units sold with much interest from Diaspora Jamaicans.

Though primarily a residential venture, there is also a commercial aspect to the project. The entrance will contain a 15,000-square-foot building housing a supermarket, offices, a pharmacy and restaurants. It will contain a mall servicing Sun Coast residents and the wider St Thomas community.

The second phase will see the construction of villas and three-bedroom townhouses.

The first houses will be occupied next year.

Landmark Group has already cemented its reputation with a number notable of projects which will help to redefine the look of Kingston into a modern 21st century metropolis.

It did a fine job with the commercial centre on Waterloo Road, aptly named Waterloo Hub with the Fontana Pharmacy as its main centre piece. This commercial real estate venture demonstrated Landmark’s capabilities. The commercial complex on Constant Spring Road is also another declaration of intent.

On the residential side, it constructed the new townhouse complex on Paddington Terrace in Kingston which set a new standard with many developers looking to it as the blueprint.

Nitram of Waterloo apartments on Upper Waterloo Road in Kingston has also won plaudits and garnered interest from prospective buyers.

Speaking with Our Today, Keven Frith said: “St Thomas is a beautiful parish and the next great tourism destination. Sun Coast Beach Club has many amenities, tennis courts, walking trail, a beautiful beach, an outstanding mall, solar energy and eco-friendly touches. Investors and those looking for luxurious accommodation outside the hustle and bustle of the big city should not let this opportunity pass them by.”
