

A concert featuring some of the best of local and international acts will take the spotlight at the 4thAnnual staging of the ‘Bring Back the Love’ concert on Saturday, April 26 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston, continuing one of the much-sought-after innovative and scintillating live cabaret presentations on Jamaica’s entertainment landscape.
Patrons are invited to join the servings of cocktails at 7:00 pm and then be seated promptly at 8:00 pm for the exciting curtain raiser.
This year’s edition sees the diva of Jazz and lovers rock, the dynamic Myrna Hague returning to the stage as Special Guest, along with singer-instrumentalist Harold Davis and JUNO Award-nominated Canadian aggregation, Jason Wilson and Ashara. There will also be a special tribute to former drummer, bandleader and ‘Bring Back the Love’ stalwart, Desi Jones, who passed away in 2024. Jones’ Skool Band will also be providing musical accompaniment.
Promoters LDC Enterprises has acknowledged the positive feedback from patrons, as a result of the high standard set by the previous three editions of the concert series. LDC also expressed its delight in being able to present a 4th edition, and to ensure that each show grows in stature. Paying tribute to the beloved journeyman musician, the late Desi Jones will be a special highlight of the event, befitting the colossal contribution he has made as bandleader. His input always brought an energetic and unforgettable musical experience.
Fae Ellington will handle emcee duties in her capable and inimitable style.
The show is again under the distinguished patronage of former Prime Minister PJ Patterson, who describes the event as: “An evening of unparalleled musical excellence and one which promises to weave together the rich tapestries of Jamaican and international melodies.”

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the MCCAM Child Care Development Centre, which offers educational services to special needs children since 1986.
Award-winning Scottish-Canadian Jason Wilson’s Ashara project fuses Scottish folk, global roots, and reggae, delving into his family history in such a way that connects his present life to a very distant past. The group’s releases showcase not only Wilson’s stellar vocals and inimitable skill on acoustic guitar and piano, but also the leader’s innate aptitude for storytelling through poetic lyrics and beautiful imagery. Tickets are at a cost of $8,0000 and now available at Music Mart, South Avenue.
