CAC 200O Limited has announced the retirement of its long-time Director, Edward Charles Alexander, effective May 1, 2026.
Alexander, known to many as “Teddy,” has served as Lead Independent Director since October 2, 2012, and chaired the Board’s Governance Committee for much of his tenure. His retirement comes after many years of dedicated service and reflects a personal decision, taken after a long and distinguished period on the Board of Directors.
Alexander has been a constant and stabilising presence at CAC, serving the company through periods of opportunity, challenge, and transition, and providing steady, principled guidance as CAC evolved as a publicly listed entity. In keeping with his strong commitment to good governance and continuity, he elected to remain on the Board through the completion of key audit and reporting matters before stepping down.
Throughout his tenure, Alexander brought clarity of thought, sound judgment, and a long‑term perspective that strengthened the Board’s effectiveness and governance culture. His experience and consistency have been invaluable to the CAC 2000 over many years.
He is a highly respected business and technology leader in Jamaica. Alexander is the Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of tTech Limited, Jamaica’s first managed IT services provider, and has held senior executive and board roles across the private, professional, and educational sectors.
His breadth of experience and reputation for integrity have been a significant asset to CAC. The Board of Directors of CAC 2000 Limited expresses its sincere appreciation to Alexander for his longstanding service, steadfast commitment, and meaningful contribution to the Company. His counsel and leadership have left a lasting positive impact on the company.
