Pizza Hut Jamaica officially launched its cheeseburger melts, the newest member of its melts line of baked delights on Friday (June 28).
The company describes it as their “new kinda cheeseburger”, one to give burger outlets a run for their money. Yum Brands Inc and Restaurants of Jamaica are definitely in their season of innovation as KFC Jamaica earlier this month released their ‘Chizza’, a zinger and pizza mashup that has been all the rave in the fast-food lover’s community.
Now, Pizza Hut has added cheeseburger melts to menus, a culinary marriage both pizza and cheeseburger lovers should count themselves lucky to witness and enjoy.
Pizza Hut’s cheeseburger melts is a new concept that is certainly a welcomed change to the mundane, similar food options Jamaicans have access to.
The cheeseburger melts has a golden, parmesan flaky crust, loaded with beef, bacon, onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheese—a saturation of flavour, with the familiarity of the classic cheeseburger. It came paired with their top-notch secret recipe, creamy burger sauce, which was the perfect complement to the cheesy, meaty goodness of the cheeseburger melts.

The price of the cheeseburger melts is J$2,400, and the combo, which comes with a 20-ounce Pepsi, costs J$2,500. The ‘My Box Cheeseburger Melts’ combo with four breadsticks and one 20-ounce Pepsi costs J$2,800.
If you are not a lover of beef, there are other meat options or cheese-only options to choose from within the Melts Family. These include pepperoni lovers, chicken bacon parmesan and meat lovers with marinara dipping sauce.
The cheeseburger melts is available at all Pizza Hut outlets in Jamaica and is a welcomed addition to the pizza giant’s extensive menu.
