There have been changes to the Board and Audit Committee of Jamaica’s sole cement manufacturer, Caribbean Cement Company.

The changes stem from the resignation of Luis Ali Moya from the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Caribbean Cement, effective October 23, 2024.

He has been replaced by Alfredo Garza on both the Board of Directors and its Audit Committee, effective October 23, 2024.

Carib Cement is advising that the resignation of Moya is in no way related to any disagreement in respect of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure or any issue impacting the Audit Committee or the Board or his ability to properly carry out the functions delegated by the Board.
