Magna Motors put on a fabulous event at its Oxford Road showroom in Kingston to launch the brand-new Hyundai Tucson 2025.

It was well executed and well attended. The after-party was on point.

Minister of Transport Daryl Vaz in his presentation noted that Magna Motors has established itself as the number three car seller in Jamaica in just ten years, a remarkable achievement. It is a force to be reckoned with and is causing its competitors to look over their shoulders.

The popular Tucson has grown its market share in Jamaica and has become a hit with young professionals.

The 2025 model comes with a lot of features and is backed by a long warranty. It is a stylish solid crossover SUV.

It has a 12.3-inch touchscreen panel with better graphics and supports wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.

The Tucson 2025 has a brand-new steering wheel and comes with revised interior storage.

Reputed motor vehicle reviewer Edmunds says: “The Tucson approaches luxury-level quality when it comes to comfort. It has supple suspension that provides an excellent ride and bumps and cracks in the road are absorbed very well. It is among the best rides in the class.” 

That makes the Tucson perfect for Jamaica and its popularity continues to grow.

The Tucson is value for money but don’t take my word for it. Here’s what Edmunds says: “The Tucson’s pricing is competitive for the class and generally lines up with what you would pay for a Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4 .

“But Hyundai does one-up the competition by giving you plenty of desirable features and excellent interior quality. The cabin design and materials are comfortable and interesting for the price and certainly a step above other compact crossover interiors.

“Hyundai’s basic warranty of five years/60,000 miles and powertrain coverage of 10 years/100,000 miles also can’t be beat. Overall, the Tucson delivers excellent value at its price.”
