A new champion has emerged in the Red Stripe Flavours Netball Jamaica Elite League, as Manchester Spurs ended Kingston Hummingbirds’ reign with a commanding 72-47 victory in Sunday’s championship final at the National Indoor Sport Centre.
Manchester Spurs set the tone from the opening whistle, taking a 17-14 lead at the end of the first quarter before extending their advantage to 37-24 at halftime. They never relinquished control, sealing a convincing 25-goal victory to complete an unbeaten season and capture the 2026 Elite League title.
The 2026 season also marked the third consecutive year of Red Stripe Flavours’ title sponsorship of the Netball Jamaica Elite League, reinforcing the brand’s continued investment in the growth of local netball and its commitment to creating opportunities for athletes to compete and excel at the highest domestic level.
Red Stripe Flavours Brand Manager, Arnaldo Martin, said the season reflected the continued growth and rising standard of Jamaica’s premier domestic netball competition.

The evening also delivered an exciting battle for third place, with St. Ann Orchids edging St. Catherine Racers 74-71 in overtime after the teams were locked at 58-58 at the end of regulation.
Netball Jamaica President Karen Baugh said the league continues to play a critical role in strengthening the local game and preparing athletes for the highest levels of competition.
