International reggae icon Maxi Priest is back with fresh music, ushering in the season with his latest single, “Touch By An Angel.” Released on April 3^rd across major streaming platforms, the track arrives through his Level Vibes Music label in partnership with Intercept Music.

Produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Paul ‘Jazzwad’ Yebuah, the song blends reggae, R&B, and soul into a smooth, heartfelt sound. The release follows his recent collaboration with Sean Paul on “Feel So Alive,” a track that helped introduce his Level Vibes Music imprint.

For many across the Caribbean, Maxi Priest’s catalogue remains a staple, with classics like Close to You, Wild World, and House Call still in rotation. Over the years, he has worked alongside names such as Beres Hammond, Roberta Flack, Shabba Ranks, and Shaggy, while performing on major stages, including events like Glastonbury Festival and Reggae Sumfest.

Looking ahead, Priest is preparing a live album titled Family, which will feature his sons, close collaborators, and rising talents from Jamaica, the UK, and the United States. The project leans into live instrumentation while blending modern influences.

Outside of music, he has also been involved in relief efforts in Jamaica, partnering with groups like the Bob and Rita Marley Foundation to support recovery work following Hurricane Melissa.
