Multi-Grammy award winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with popular fast-food chain, Popeyes, to create her very own hot sauce and co-branded merch.
Megan even has plans to open her own Popeyes’ franchise, as she is now an approved franchise owner, according to the company.
The star’s Hottie Sauce will hit the market on October 19 in 15 countries across the world.
‘SWEET BOLD FLAVOUR WITH A HINT OF SPICE’
It will be served with their famous chicken sandwich and also as a dipping sauce for the company’s new nuggets released in the summer. The sauce is made with honey, cider vinegar and Aleppo pepper.
According to Popeyes, Megan worked closely with their culinary team and the sauce was made to reflect the artiste’s sassy personality, as it features a robust “sweet, yet bold flavour with a hint of spice”.
Next Tuesday will also see the launch of Popeyes x Megan Thee Stallion limited edition merch
that will be released on TheeHottieSauce.com.

The launch will include three exclusive drops, the first of which is Thee Heat, which includes bikinis, hats, tumblers and Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toys.
The other two drops are reported scheduled for November. Popeyes shared that, to get ahead of the rest, one must ensure they are enrolled in the Popeyes Rewards Programme and also sign up to receive updates each time drops are made.
“Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur,” Megan shared.
The partnership also entails a significant donation to Houston Random Acts of Kindness.
